| | | Location | | | | East Lake Woodlands Country Club is a private estate and the number 1 in the Tampa – St. Petersburg area. It boasts two Championship 18 Golf Courses, Tennis Club and Olympic swimming pool. Jog, walk or cycle through woodland grounds, which span hundreds of acres of majestic pine, oak and cypress forests further enhanced by sparkling blue lakes. The community is fifteen minutes from Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg, and beautiful white sand gulf beaches are nearer. Busch Gardens is in close proximity. Just an hour and half drive away are the internationally famous Disney World, Sea World and MGM + Universal Studios in Orlando. | | | |  | | | | ACCOMODATION | | | | This NON SMOKING 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Condo is situated in East Lake Woodlands, a gated country club community. It is 20 minutes west of Tampa airport, in Palm Harbour, close to Dunedin and Clearwater.The Condo is newly Decorated and furnished to a very high standard and is fully equipped with Washer/ Dryer, microwave, dishwasher and waste disposal, Linen and towels are also provided.The heated swimming pool is just 30 yards away, the pool area is accessed by means of a private key. | | | |  | | | | Places to Eat | | | | The list of good eating places is endless, but here are some of the places we keep going back to. Applebees: turn left at the gate onto Tampa Road head up towards Racetrack Road (just after the flea market) and Applebees will be on your right.Applebess is excellent for families and very good value. T.G.I Fridays: turn right at the gate onto Tampa Road, head south on Highway 19 T.G.I Fridays is on your left.Can sometimes be busy so take into account an extra half hour if going out after dinner. Food is worth the wait. Hoppers: within the estate grounds along from Publix supermarket, best wings in Tampa. Ruby Tuesday: beside the cinema opposite main gate. Food all round fare at a reasonable price. The Outback Steakhouse: on Highway 19 south (quarter mile from Tampa) slightly expensive but the food is top class. Sam Seltzer’s Steak House: south on 19 for approx five miles. It’s on the left opposite a big Ford dealership. Upmarket but for that special night out. Daddy’s Grill: small mall on the apartment side of Walmart. Best breakfast in town – home cooked menu that is reasonable but excellent. This is where all the locals go to eat. | | | |  | | | | Shopping | | | | Publix, Albertons, Cash & Carry and Walgreen’s are the local supermarkets. Prices don’t vary very much in supermarkets but each one will have different “specials” on, so it can be worth shopping around if you’re a bargain hunter. Bealls and Target: are worth visiting if you are looking to buy holiday clothes or that “different” item for back home. Both within walking distance from the condo. Countryside Mall: exit the front gate and turn left on Tampa Road. Go right just after Starbucks coffee shop onto Curlew Road. Cross the McMullen Booth Road and then go left at the junction with Countryside Boulevard. Stay on this road for approx 5 mins crossing another set of lights (no deviation) and the mall will be on your LHS. Don’t panic, as there are several entrances. There are many good and reasonable places to eat around this area including: China King Buffet, Ruby Tuesdays, Chillis, Denny’s, KFC and others.Oldsmar Flea Market, exit main gate and turn left on Tampa Road. The flea market is on the left approx three miles from Eastlake. Wal-mart 24-hour Store: on the Way to the flea market on the left. Whatever you need, whenever you need it.
